With over 800 m² of event space spread across five floors, including five spacious halls, multiple meeting rooms, and a small outdoor area, Quartier Papier can host up to 400 guests in a variety of setups.

Quartier Papier didn’t get its name by accident. This striking industrial building once thrived as Papeterie de Saventhem, a 19th-century paper mill that played a key role in the local economy, specializing in newspaper production at the height of the print era.

As the interwar years brought a decline in the paper industry, the factory slowly faded into disuse. But the building’s story didn’t end there.

Decades later, it was reborn as the creative hub for Belgium’s national TV channels VIER and VIJFtv. For eleven vibrant years, this space pulsed with media production under SBS Belgium.

Today, Quartier Papier begins its next chapter, as a one-of-a-kind venue where heritage meets modern design, perfect for events that want to make a lasting impression.
