INTRODUCTION
Quartier Papier is a unique event location in the heart of Zaventem. This venue is the industrial backdrop for every occasion, just a stone’s throw away from our capital, Brussels. Quartier Papier has opened its doors in April 2018.
The industrial building counts five floors and has a small outdoor space. With its more than 800m² surface area, Quartier Papier offers a capacity of up to 400 guests in five spacious halls and several meeting rooms, spread over five floors, making it possible to set up different configurations and programs.
This makes the location ideal for corporate events, trade fairs, wedding parties, press events and (inter)national conferences & meetings.

HISTORY
Quartier Papier didn't steal its name. The industrial building used to serve a purpose as a paper mill factory in the 19th century, named Papeterie de Saventhem. It was one of the most important factories in the neighbourhood as it was specialized in newspaper paper.
During the interbellum, the paper industry decreased in value, and as a consequence, the factory slowly lost business. Many years later the old factory building was converted into a modern building hosting the offices of the national television channels, VIER and VIJFtv. After eleven years, the television channels of SBS Belgium made room for a new purpose.
